How is the ACT different from the SAT?

The ACT is much faster-paced than the SAT. It includes a dedicated Science section (which tests graph and data interpretation, not memorized facts), tests slightly more advanced Math (like matrices and more trig), and has more straightforward reading questions.

Is the ACT paper-based or digital in Pakistan?

For all international test-takers, including those in Lahore, Pakistan, the ACT is a Computer-Based Test (CBT). You will take the exam on a computer at a designated test center. Our prep heavily features CBT practice so you are familiar with the interface.

Do I need to take the optional ACT Writing (Essay) section?

Most top universities no longer require the ACT Writing section. However, we recommend checking the specific admissions requirements of your target colleges. If you choose to take it, our tutors will provide essay templates and guidance.

How is the ACT scored?

Each of the four mandatory sections (English, Math, Reading, Science) is scored on a scale of 1 to 36. Your final "Composite Score" is simply the average of these four sections, also out of 36.
